Some interesting news for folks in the Ashburn area. A new Indian eatery that specializes in vegetarian food and all-day breakfasts is in the works – and it’s apparently bringing a gelato bar sweet shop with it.
Here’s what we’ve learned – the restaurant Tiffin Hut is planning on opening in the Ashburn Farm Village Center retail plaza off Ashburn Farm Parkway.
That’s the same center with the Buffalo Wing Factory, The Shop Gym fitness center, and the Patel Brothers grocery store.
Tiffin Hut, which already has a location over in Herndon, is taking over a nearly 4,000 s.f. space that is currently vacant.
It specializes in butter dosas, deep-fried fritters known as vada, and other treats.
But the news doesn’t stop there – the landlord has announced that not only is Tiffin Hut coming, but also Fantasticks.
We believe this is the same Fantasticks that has an outlet at One Loudoun in Ashburn and serves up gourmet gelato bars covered in all kinds of decadent toppings.
Details about these plans are still scarce, but a representative for Tiffin Hut told us they are several months out from opening – so stay tuned.
