Latest Wonder restaurant in Loudoun sets opening date

The second of three new Wonder multi-restaurant outlets is set to open in Loudoun County – this time in Sterling.

As The Burn has been reporting for months, the fast-growing fast-food concept is moving into Northern Virginia aggresively – including three locations in Loudoun.

The first opened in April in Leesburg at the Fort Evans Plaza II shopping center.

Now, the second one is set to start a soft opening next Monday, June 22, at the Cascades Marketplace retail center in Sterling.

A grand opening celebration is scheduled for next Thursday, June 25.

A third location is already under construction at the Broadlands Village Center in Ashburn. It’s going into the spot that used to be the Bonefish Grill restaurant.

The future Wonder location in Ashburn at the Broadlands Village Center.

We’re calling Wonder a multi-restaurant because it features a single kitchen that serves up a huge variety of dishes from 20 or more different brands.

We’re talking Italian food, Greek fare, pizza, Mexican, chicken sandwiches, burgers, salads, cookies – you name it.

The concept is geared towards carryout and delivery although there is often a small dining room onsite.

Customers who go in person order via the Wonder app or at kiosks in the store and wait for their food to be brought out – bagged and ready to go.

The Burn gave readers a complete walk-thru of the Wonder experience back in April. You can see that report here.
