A new Japanese department store is in the works for Loudoun County. (There’s a sentence we never thought we would write.)
The Burn has learned that a Teso Life store is coming to the Sugarland Crossing shopping center in Sterling.
That’s the center with the Lidl grocery store, the Chick-fil-A, and the Burlington store off Route 7.
Teso Life is taking a 12,500 s.f. space that used to be a Party City store.
According to the Teso Life website, the brand was founded in 2017 and is based in Queens, New York. The company works with Japanese suppliers to import and carry a large number of “fashion casual life product(s).”
This includes health and beauty items, snack foods and beverages, as well as housewares and kitchenwares.
There are Teso Life locations across the country. In the DMV, the company’s website shows stores in Centreville plus Rockville, Maryland.
The Sterling store as well as one in Springfield are listed as “coming soon.”
