We’ve got some new information – or at least clarity – on a story we brought you back in June.
That’s when we reported on a mystery tenant coming to Ashburn’s Belmont Chase shopping center.
The tenant went by the name Adda and was taking the former Baker’s Crust restaurant space. This led us to believe Adda was likely a restaurant as well.
We also speculated that it might focus on Indian cuisine because the name Adda means something akin to “hangout” in the Hindi language.
Now, temporary signage has gone up on the windows of the space and sure enough – it’s a new Indian resataurant.

“Coming Soon. Adda Classic Indian Cuisine” the signage reads. “Gather. Eat. Drink. Laugh. Repeat” and “Come Hungry, Bring Friends.”
We looked in the windows of the 4,300 s.f. space and work demolishing the former Baker’s Crust is underway.
So one would expect the rebuilding as Adda to start soon – along with a release of more details such as menu highlights and a target timeline for opening.
