The sign has been installed at The Picklr, a huge new indoor pickleball facility coming to Loudoun County – and now we have an update on its planned opening.
As The Burn first reported last December, The Picklr is coming to the Cascades Markeplace shopping center in Sterling.
That’s where it has taken over a large space vacated by the Marshalls department store when it moved to Dulles Eastern Plaza in 2023.
The Picklr will have 10 courts, a pro shop, coaching, league play, and tournaments when the roughly 30,000 s.f. venue opens.
As of now, the owners tell us they are aiming for September. However, they have run into a series of hiccups during the journey so far, so they aren’t ready to lock in a date quite yet. Stay tuned.
