It looks like a local Mexican restaurant in Loudoun County is getting ready to expand with a second location officially in the works.
The Burn has learned that Mancha Cocina Mexicana is planning a new location in Sterling.
It will reportedly be coming to the Cascades Overlook Town Center. That’s the retail plaza anchored by a Harris Teeter grocery store off Benedict Drive.
Mancha Cocina Mexican is slated to take over the roughly 3,600 s.f. space that was previously the longtime home to the Choolaah Indian BBQ restaurant that closed in May.
Mancha opened its first location in Leesburg in the Fort Evans Plaza back in 2024. Now, two years later, they are expanding.
The restaurant carries all the traditional Mexican favorites including margaritas, a large selection of tequilas, street tacos, aquachile lime-cured shrimp, carnitas, fajitas, and more.

No word about an opening yet. The deal is still new so we’ll keep an eye on the progress and report back.
Meanwhile, Mancha isn’t the only new restaurant in the works for the Cascades Overlook center. As we reported back in June – Pampas Brazilian Steakhouse is moving into the former Chuy’s restaurant space soon.
