Last week, we told readers of The Burn about a new venue called Backspin coming to Loudoun County – but at the time details were hard to come by.
Now, we’ve got the scoop.
As we reported, The Backspin is taking over the 12,000 s.f. space that formerly The Zone at the Loudoun Station center in Ashburn.
Since then, we’ve spoken to the Backspin’s owner – Max Zhang – and have more details on her vision for the venue – as well as some artist renderings that she shared.
Picture an upscale sports bar with a full bar and restaurant and plenty of big screen televisions for watching all the live games.
Now, add in bays with golf simulators, a putting green, billiards, and even darts.
On the second floor, there will be two large party rooms for private events.
That’s what Zhang is planning on bringing to Ashburn next year.
Right now, she is aiming for an opening sometime in the second quarter – so roughly around springtime.
