The Burn has been telling readers about a new “rage room” coming to Loudoun County – and now we have the official opening date.
iSmash Sterling will open its doors this Saturday, August 15, with grand opening festivities starting at noon.
It’s located in the Parc City Center retail plaza off Route 7. The exact address is 20921 Davenport Drive, Unit 120.
At a rage room like iSmash, visitors can “work their feelings out” by donning safety gear and smashing household items with a bat or other club. We’re talking things like computers, radios, vases, lamps, you name it.
The Sterling location also offers a Splatter Paint experience, where you and your friends can splash paint all over a room and yourselves.
“Sterling is an incredible community, and I’m excited to introduce an experience that brings people together in a fun and memorable way,” said Jon Schreifels, the owner of iSmash Sterling, in a statement. “We’re here for birthdays, office parties, family nights out, or just as a way to relieve stress with your friends after a long week. We want iSmash to become a place where you make memories no matter the occasion.”
iSmash Sterling will be offering a 50 percent discount during the opening weekend.
The brand has more than 20 locations around the country. The Sterling iSmash is the first one in Virginia.
