A new sushi restaurant is reportedly in the works for Loudoun County – and it intends to move into a building that has garnered a lot of attention.
It was only recently that The Burn learned that an application to put up a Raising Cane’s restaurant on the site of the old TGIFriday’s in Leesburg had been withdrawn.
The building on an outparcel near the Leesburg Premium Outlets has been vacant since TGIFridays closed in 2024. The exact address is 235 Fort Evans Road NE.
Cane’s was at least the second proposal for the building after a previous plan to turn it into a Chili’s Grill & Bar also didn’t come to fruition.
Now, perhaps the third time will be a charm.
Paperwork has been filed to open a new restaurant in the building. It will reportedly be called Tokyo Station and have a menu focused on sushi. Other details haven’t been announced.
We’ve got an email into the owner of Tokyo Sushi to get more information, so stay tuned.
