We’ve got some new information on an upcoming “wine and bottle shop” headed to Loudoun County.
We’re talking about the new Sip & Shop Cellars that is in the works for the South Riding Market Square shopping plaza.
The Burn first told readers about Sip & Shop back in July. It’s the new wine shop and restaurant coming to the spot where WineStyles used to reside.
We connected with the owners and he tells us that – while the store will be similar in nature to WineStyles – he will be bringing in an entirely new wine selection and offering a new food menu as well.
We got a sneak peek at the menu and it will include items such as charcuterie boards, sandwiches, salads, seasoned nuts, burrata, and more – all items that go nicely with the establishment’s wine selection.
Customers can shop in the store – and if they’d like – have a bottle opened on the spot to enjoy with food, then take home any wine not finished.
Sip & Shop Cellars will also hold wine tastings on the weekend and there will be a beer selection as well for the non-oenophiles among us.
We’re told the team at the store is aiming for a September opening if all goes smoothly.
