Diners headed out to get food at the Broadlands Village Center retail plaza may find some of their options have temporarily closed.
We’re referring to the Peri Peri Original fast-casual restaurant and the Pholicioius Vietnamese restaurant.
Both have their windows covered over and signs posted on the door saying that they are undergoing remodeling.
We are hearing that Pholicious may have a new name when it eventually reopens, but we believe that Vietnamese cuisine will still be the focus. Stay tuned.
Meanwhile, we are told Peri Peri Original – which serves seasoned peri peri chicken famous from Portuguese-African cuisine – is expected to reopen under the same name.
However, the Peri Peri Original sign on the facade has been removed, so that strikes us as odd.
We will keep an eye on both of these establishments and let you know when they reopen and any pertinent changes.
Meanwhile, many area diners (and sports fans) are still lamenting the loss of the All American Steakhouse in the Broadlands Village Center which closed earlier this summer.
The landlords are actively seeking a new tenant for that roughly 7,600 s.f. space.
