A new Vietnamese pho and boba restaurant is apparently on its way to Ashburn where it will take over operating a different Vietnamese eatery.
Earlier this week, The Burn reported that Pholicious in the Broadlands Village Center had closed for remodeling, per a sign on the door.
We also told readers that we were hearing through the grapevine that it was getting a new name.
Now, we know that the name will apparently be Teabreak Pho & Boba.
The local brand with two locations – one in Herndon and one in Sterling – is assuming operations at the former Pholicious.
It’s worth noting that the sign on the door of the space has been altered. It looks like perhaps Teabreak is becoming Tbreak and the word “boba” has been covered over. We’ve got a message in for details.
The menu at Teabreak is filled with Vietnamese favorites.
Besides pho, there are banh mi sandwiches, pork and chicken skewers, rice dishes, and lots more. You can see the current Teabreak menu here.
No word yet when opening day – or re-opening day – will be.
