Temporary signage has gone up on the exterior of the upcoming Wonder multi-restaurant in Ashburn.
Construction has been underway for several months now, but the signage is the first time the Wonder name has appeared on the space.
It was way back in March that The Burn broke the news that Wonder was coming to the Broadlands Village Center.
It’s taking over most of the space that was previously the home to the Bonefish Grill.
The revolving doors at the entrance have been removed as have the big black awnings over the window.
If you’re not familiar with Wonder, it’s similar in concept to a ghost kitchen – meaning multiple different restaurants serve food out of the Wonder kitchen.
You can order Thai, Greek, Mexican, burgers, salads, cookies, and much more. There are usually 20+ different restaurant menus represented.
Food is primarily aimed at carryout and delivery orders and packed in containers and bags, although there will be a dining room for those who choose to eat onsite.
The Wonder brand is expanding rapidly. Wonder locations already opened earlier this year in Leesburg and Sterling with other locations around Northern Virginia.
