A local sweet shop in Loudoun County has decamped from one location and moved into another. We’re talking about The Chocolate Palette.
The Chocolate Palette – which originated in Purcellville – has most recently been found on Church Street SE in Leesburg, sharing space with the SimplyBe Coffee shop.
Now, after a long search for a permanent home, the dessert-centric store has moved a few blocks away to a new home at 212 A Loudoun Street SE.
That’s the former home of the Greenheart Juice Bar right behind Mom’s Apple Pie.
The shop specializes in all kinds of unique sweets including æbleskivers – traditional round pancake balls from Denmark (pictured at top) – as well as as tarts, candies, and more. You can see more about its offerings here.
The opening date for the new shop hasn’t been locked in yet – it’s expected in the next few weeks. When it opens, The Chocolate Palette’s hours should be Thursday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sundays 3 to 7 p.m.
